Nikki Melchior joined the Normandy Park Preschool team in 2025 as Preschool Director. Nikki is a Normandy Park resident whose kids attended Normandy Park Preschool when they were little!

She is excited to be involved with the program again and work with talented teachers, assist parents, coordinate with city staff, and spend time with energetic kids!

She has worked with children for over 20 years. She has a degree in Elementary Education, experience working with kids with different abilities, and spent 12 years working with Pacific Science Center’s Science on Wheels outreach program.

She also has a curriculum consulting business where she creates and presents education programs for libraries, schools, and museums. In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking, and reading.
